Integration Specialist II

Classification: Full time

Reports to: Solution Integration Team Leader

Location: Pittsburgh preferred; may be able to accommodate an alternate geographic location

General Purpose of Job: The Integration Specialist II is responsible for testing, setup, and troubleshooting of all aspects of Tele-Tracking’s interfacing applications. The Integration Specialist II works closely with Implementation Managers (preparation of the interface), Installation Engineers (interface support), Technical Support, Technical Consultants(interface design), Development (bugs and modifications to the software), and the client. The Integration Specialist II works independently to ensure that the clients interfacing needs are met based on the scope supplied by the Implementation Manager and the design that is supplied by the Technical Consultant.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintaining and monitoring open support issues to their completion
  • Designing, implementing and supporting all client interface needs across multiple applications.
  • Communicating and working well with both customers and internal employees to ensure timely and accurate setup, testing and troubleshooting of Interfaces to our applications
  • Communicating timely status updates to the Implementation Manager
  • Maintaining high level of customer responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Working closely with other departments (e.g., Implementation, Installation, Technical Support, Development and Sales)
  • Documenting interface designs and client contact.
  • Updating and maintaining internal and external documentation as needed.
  • Attending weekly interface and schedule meetings as requested
  • Contributing to a positive and team oriented work environment
  • Supporting clients on-call after normal business hours
  • Training other employees
  • Performs other duties as necessary or as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • MCSE, A+ or BS/BA/equivalent experience in computer discipline
  • 5+ years experience in technology field
  • 5+ years HL7 experience
  • 3+ Experience with Microsoft Sql Server 2000-2005
  • 2+ Python or other programming experience is a plus
  • In-depth expertise in hardware and software that provides foundation to quickly learn & understand proprietary software products and technical architecture.
  • Effective communications skills, presentation skills, and writing ability

  • Experience in Help desk/tech support environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, IF APPLICABLE:

  • Normal office conditions; must travel up to 25%
