General Purpose Of Job:
The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team as assigned by management. The Product Specialist provides prospects and sales team members with product advice including workflow analyses. The Product Specialist supports the Sales team with pre-presentation assessments, product presentations and demonstrations during the pre-sale process. The Product Specialist may in the course of the pre-sale support, visit existing clients to assess compliance and results through a high level process review. As such, the Product Specialist refers clients to Avanti for process consultation as appropriate to ensure the client is maximizing product investment. As a subject matter expert the Product Specialist must maintain strong functional knowledge of our Solutions and act as a bridge between the Product Manager and the Sales Team for training and education.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts workflow analysis and other pre-demonstration assistance. Presents technical demonstrations at the customer site by management and manages the demonstration data base for assigned products.
- Performs high level workflow analysis at the prospect site advising clients about improvements to increase product utilization; The Product Specialist will refer all needs for a detailed work flow analysis to the Director of Avanti, and will document the findings, observations and recommendations derived from their assessment in Landslide within 48 hours of completing the visit.
- Recommends additional TeleTracking Technologies products and services to prospects and clients that will enhance product performance and refers such clients to either the Regional Director or the Director of Avanti.
- Participates in trade shows and regional and company sales meetings as necessary.
- Provides such other and further support as may be necessary or as assigned by management.
- Enters information pertaining to the Specialist’s responsibilities into the Sales database system (Landslide) on a daily basis and ensures the information is timely and accurate.
EDUCATION:
Must be a Registered Nurse; BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a patient placement/ bed control specialist and a minimum of 2 years as a staff nurse on an acute care or intensive care unit. Must also have at least two years experience with automated patient flow / capacity management technology.

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills
2. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
3. Must be able to present to the senior leadership within the hospital and health network settings.
5. Strong time and project management skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current RN licensure required.
