Technical Support Engineer

The Technical Support Engineer provides post implementation technical telephone support and analysis to clients for all TeleTracking Solutions.

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Evaluate and assess situations based on input and technical conditions

·         Respond to customer telephone queries

·         Support and train clients on each of the TeleTracking Solutions

·         Advise clients on hardware, software and network issues affecting implementations, ongoing operations and problem resolution

·         Diagnose problems, examine solutions, investigate and test response options to determine and implement the best resolution

·         Ascertain and assure client satisfaction

·         Thoroughly document all case and solution steps in customer database

·         Provide support to Implementation Engineers (Field) and other Implementation staff with on site implementation issues

 

Basic Qualifications: 


EDUCATION: High School diploma or the equivalent; post secondary training in computer information or related a plus

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 or more years of technical support or other relevant experience
  • Experience with MS Access and MS SQL databases preferred

SKILLS:

 

 

·   Excellent interpersonal and client service skills and considerable tact to deal effectively with clients to resolve problems

 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • A+ certification preferred

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, IF APPLICABLE:  Normal office conditions, works in Pittsburgh office and works three shifts as scheduled
