Client Manager, Central Sales Region

Salary Grade: 30                                             

 

Classification and FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt       

 

Reports to: Regional Vice President, Central Region

 

General Purpose of Job:

The Client Manager has primary responsibility for increasing the rate of client retention and increasing the rate of application renewal by developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients.  The Client Manger “owns” the Four-Touch program, which requires contact with each client at least four times per year, twice at the client’s site.  The Client Manager identifies and refers opportunities to expand the client relationship via additional licenses to Sales Executives; however, the Client Manager is not responsible for sales.  The Client Manager works with Inside Sales Coordinator to enhance the opportunities for contract extensions, renewals or other services beneficial to the client, including Avanti Patient Flow consulting services.  The Client Manager works as a member of the Regional Sales Team, under the leadership of the Regional Vice President.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1.        Manages all existing clients within an assigned territory to ensure that at least twice (2) a year all existing clients are visited by the Client Manager or other member of the sales team.  Additionally the Client Manager assures each existing client is “touched” four (4) times annually to include at least two on site visits.  (A touch is defined by: direct contact with the client either via phone call or personal email.)

2.                 Diagnoses any current issue (s) and works towards resolution. In the process of the contact, the Client Manager assesses  the value being derived by the client and uses the assessment improve the relationship by referring the client to others within the organization who can help increase the value being derived.  The Client Manger will maintain contact with the clients and serve as the client’s conduit to TeleTracking Technologies; assuring problems noted have been resolved.

3.                  Identifies “up sell” opportunities and passes those leads to the Sales Executive, Inside Sales Coordinator or Avanti, as appropriate, via Landslide.

4.                  Maintains the existing client database to ensure that current information is documented in a timely manner and documents when each client is touched throughout the year.  Records notes in Landslide within 48 hours of the client contact and enters all Client information at least weekly and preferably within 48 hours of the client contact.

5.                  Establishes professional client /vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel)

6.                  Updates the sales management data base daily

7.                  Assists the Regional Director to develop forecast reports as required by the management.

8.                  Provides lost business reports on a monthly basis.

9.                  Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Director or as necessary.

 

Basic Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

 

Experience:

Must have three (3) or more years of experience using technology within the health care field that includes implementing or supporting automated patient flow/ capacity management technology; TeleTracking Technologies Product experience preferred.

 

Skills:

1.      Strong written and verbal communication skills

2.      Strong time and project management skills.

3.      Ability to work in a team environment.

4.      Proficient with TeleTracking Solutions or similar health care technology solutions.

5.      Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:   

Normal office conditions; works from home based office; this is a Regional position within the Central Region; therefore, the Client Manger must reside within the assigned geographic region as defined by TeleTracking and will be required to travel at least 80% of time worked.
