As Vice President of Clinical Operations, Dr. Julia Fishman works with clinicians in hospitals to design the best possible care delivery system, using real-time activity data provided by TeleTracking to make operational improvements.
Dr. Fishman came to TeleTracking from McKinsey & Co. where she led the Hospital Improvement Networks campaign which supported improvement across operating theatres, medical productivity and integrated care. This role involved working with frontline clinical teams to design improvements that helped identify opportunities for significant financial savings.
A former senior specialist in paediatric surgery in a leading London Trust, Dr. Fishman has 10 years of experience with hospital transformation focused on getting people to the right place at the right time so clinicians can deliver the right care. Her strong belief that clinical processes can be better orchestrated has helped many U.K. hospitals manage patient flow, reduce waiting times and provide better, more efficient care.
She is currently a trustee of The Children’s Hospital Trust Fund, a children’s charity that supports better care through funding equipment and resources for babies and children in West London.
Dr. Fishman earned her undergraduate joint honours degree in Physiology, Pharmacology and Medical Law at University College London and the University of Oxford. She later qualified as a doctor at University College London and further specialised in paediatric surgery.
