This privacy policy explains how TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. (“TeleTracking”, “we” or “our”) uses the Personal Data we collect from you: (i) when you visit and use the functionality on our website at https://www.teletracking.com/ (”Website”), (ii) when you attend our events; and (iii) as part of our other online and offline activities, such as marketing. This privacy policy does not apply to the Personal Data we collect through our products. Such policies only apply upon the purchase of TeleTracking products and are distributed with the software at that time.

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer for the UK and EU, the details for which are set out below.

Definitions

Controller – Person or organization which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data.

Personal Data – Information relating to an individual that can be used to identify that individual either on its own or in combination with other readily available data (e.g., the individual’s name, title, company, email address and telephone number).

Processor – Any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that processes Personal Data on behalf of a Controller.

Personal Data Collection

TeleTracking collects data, including Personal Data, from you via cookies when you use the Website.

TeleTracking also collects data, including Personal Data, from you when you provide us with such data via the Website, for example, via the chat function or “contact us” page, and where you complete any surveys that we may send to you.

TeleTracking also collects Personal Data about you from business-focused websites such as your company website, Definitive Healthcare and LinkedIn, including name, job title, company, city and contact information (to the extent such information is publicly available) and when you provide Personal Data to us when, for example, you attend our events or meet us at third party events.

Personal Data Use

We will only use your Personal Data when the law allows us to. The purposes for which TeleTracking collects and uses such Personal Data are set out in the table below, together with the corresponding legal basis that we rely on for collecting and using such data:

Disclosure of Personal Data

  • Our affiliated companies such as TeleTracking International Limited.
  • Third party service providers who we have appointed as Processors e.g. cloud-hosting providers and third parties engaged to administer our surveys and direct marketing campaigns, and operate our chat function.
  • Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your Personal Data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.
  • On rare occasions, we may be required to disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. In such cases, we will review each request on a case-by-case basis and only comply if and to the extent we determine the request is lawful. When reviewing the lawfulness of a request, we take into account all applicable laws, including the laws of other jurisdictions, where applicable.

We may also share Personal Data collected via cookies with third parties as set out in our Cookie Policy.

Retention of Personal Data

Personal Data collected via the Website is protected by appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for the protection of the security, confidentiality and integrity of data collected.

TeleTracking will retain the Personal Data it gathers through its Website for period no longer than reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is collected.  

International Transfers of Your Personal Data

The Personal Data we collect via the Website is stored in the United States. If you are based outside the United States, this involves transferring your Personal Data to a country where data protection laws may not be equivalent to those in the country you are based.

If you are based in the UK or EU, we are obliged to inform you that neither the European Commission nor the UK Government have decided that the data protection laws in the United States are adequate.

However, to ensure your Personal Data is protected during transfer to the United States, a combination of Binding Corporate Rules and Standard Contractual Clauses are used. If you would like to obtain a copy of these transfer documents, please contact us using the contact details set out below.

Your Rights Over Your Personal Data

TeleTracking would like to make sure you are fully aware of your data protection rights. If you are based in the UK or EU, you are entitled to the following rights over your Personal Data:

  1. The right to access: You have the right to request TeleTracking for copies of the Personal Data we hold about you.
  2. The right to rectification: You have the right to request that TeleTracking correct any Personal Data about you that is inaccurate. You also have the right to request TeleTracking to complete the Personal Data we hold about you where you believe it is incomplete.
  3. The right to erasure: You have the right to request that TeleTracking erases your Personal Data, under certain conditions.
  4. The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that TeleTracking restricts the processing of your Personal Data, under certain conditions.
  5. The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to TeleTracking’s processing of your Personal Data, under certain conditions and you have an unconditional right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.
  6. The right to data portability: You have the right to request that TeleTracking transfers the Personal Data we have collected about you to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
  7. The right to withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your Personal Data (as set out in the table above), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details set out below. If you make a request, TeleTracking will endeavor to respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request.

The Website may contain links to other websites. This privacy policy applies to the Website(s) only. If you click on a link to another website, any processing of your Personal Data on that website will be subject to the other website’s privacy policy.

TeleTracking keeps its privacy policy under regular review and places any updates on this web page. TeleTracking reserves the right to update its privacy policy at any time and without prior notice. This privacy policy was last updated on April 9, 2021.
