ProcedureTracking™ - TeleTracking Technologies, the leading provider of patient flow solutions, now extends its proven workflow automation applications into patient procedure areas, such as the OR, Cath Lab, GI Lab or anywhere patient milestones need to be tracked. ProcedureTracking™ provides a seamless flow of information throughout the entire procedure process and includes a unique view designed specifically for families in the waiting area. It instantly communicates the status and location of a patient to medical staff, administrators and family members. The improved communications among physicians, nurses and other medical staff produces efficiencies to keep schedules on time, better manage patient throughput and track critical milestones throughout the procedure.

Increases patient and staff satisfaction As patients go through their procedures, all milestones are recorded into the system via an easily deployable browser based web page...for example, a surgical patient can be tracked from pre-op through the procedure to recovery. And since it is updated in real-time, the family-friendly tracking screen in the waiting room lets loved ones monitor progress without having to track down a nurse or clerk in the waiting area. Family members can also view family specific comments as well as the hospital room number to which the patient will be assigned.* This means more peace of mind for family and fewer phone calls for staff.

For hospitals using TeleTracking’s Bed Management Suite™ inpatient bed requests can be easily made directly from ProcedureTracking™. Also, real-time information about the bed request, such as current bed status (occupied, dirty, in progress, clean) and completed bed assignments, can easily be viewed.

This means recovery room staff immediately know which patients are ready to be moved to their bed, freeing up bed space in the procedure area to avoid delays or cancellations of future cases. Fewer missed or delayed cases means additional revenue and increased patient and physician satisfaction.
