Kelly McDonough brings extensive clinical and senior leadership experience to her role as Consultant in TeleTracking’s Advisory Services. She is a regionally recognized expert in nursing practice and regulation with a focus on developing and implementing organizational and systems components that emphasize practice, improvement of quality nursing outcomes, and ensuring patient safety.
Kelly served in the United States Army for 5 years with clinical practice focus areas of medical surgical, burn, critical care and emergency. She has held a variety of Emergency Services leadership positions at Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA for the last 13 years. Kelly has published in academic, trade and professional association journals focusing on nursing improvement, organizational leadership, and measuring intervention effectiveness. She also maintains extensive experience with Magnet, leading preparation, designation and organizational sustainment. Since 2013, Kelly has served as a Board Member of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Board of Nursing in which she actively pursued clinical standards of practice and ongoing regulatory excellence.
Kelly received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Radford University, a Master’s degree in Nursing from Drexel University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from George Mason University.
