TeleTracking at the 2018 National Association of Healthcare Transport Management (NAHTM) Conference
TeleTracking is participating in The National Association of Healthcare Transport Management’s (NAHTM) annual conference, currently underway in Seattle, Washington. NAHTM was formed in 1989 by a group of hospital-based transport managers from across the United States and operates with the mission to provide a venue for members to exchange information, promote effective change and improvement across the industry, and drive professional development and standards.
Two of TeleTracking’s subject matter experts will be sharing their knowledge―and helping other health systems drive change and realize positive results―at the Exhibitor’s Marketplace:
The Benchmarking project was launched in 2017 and is meant to help NAHTM establish performance standards for patient transport. Data from more than 50 hospitals has been gathered, aggregated and analyzed. While some hypothesis from prior studies have been strengthened, there are new learnings about the impact of certain variables on performance. For example, the data suggests that transport volumes have a stronger impact to performance than facility size. TeleTracking is presenting findings based on the analytic capabilities of the new data platform.
And this is just a preview—look for the complete findings of the project to be broadly published later this year. And if you want to hear more from Scott and Tom, visit our resource center and listen to their podcasts.
