HIMSS18 - KLAS Honors, Donations for Demos and Community Impact
TeleTracking will take its relentless commitment to ensure that no one will ever wait for the care they need to the HIMSS18 Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas, March 6-9, 2018 at booth #7301. That commitment is further recognized by the fact that we’ve been named the Patient Flow Category Leader for the 7th consecutive year by U.S. healthcare market research leader KLAS. In fact, we’ve received this prestigious recognition of excellence for eleven out of the past twelve years.
“An effective patient flow strategy, when championed as a core operational principle, can have transformative effects on patient access and the timely delivery of care. Studies have found that reducing the average boarding time in our nation’s emergency departments from six hours to four hours would create enough capacity to help 9.7 million more patients per year in urban communities, not to mention saving countless lives. And that as many as 20 million patient-days are lost each year simply waiting inside our hospitals,” says Kris Kaneta, Senior Vice President, Marketing.
Visitors to the booth will see first-hand how access can be increased, productivity improved― and most importantly―lives saved.
We are also demonstrating our commitment to compassion by making a $100.00 donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh [which provides dental services to the under-served] for every product demo held at the booth. (Must be employed by a health system or provider organization for demo to qualify for donation).
“TeleTracking's mission—to ensure that no one will ever wait for the care they need—is one of noble service to patients, caregivers and the community-at-large,” says TeleTracking’s Chairman and CEO, Michael Zamagias. “A strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives, and act with compassion, is at the heart of everything we do.”
