New upgrades boosting TeleTracking’s market-leading ability to operate hospitals in “absolute” real time will be highlighted next week at HIMSS14 in Orlando, FL.
We’ll be featuring a new RTLS-enabled Orchestrate™ application for procedural areas, along with new releases of the Capacity Management Suite™ system and our TransferCenter™ application.
RTLS integration with our healthcare operations management platform enhances patient throughput efficiency by eliminating human input from workflow reporting, like making phone calls to report patient discharges, bed turnovers or patient room status.
Real-time location tags for patients, staff and medical assets also improve patient safety and satisfaction, and permit real-time automation of The Joint Commission recommended patient flow standards.
These big steps forward are another indication as to why TeleTracking was again named KLAS patient flow category leader in 2013, an honor it has received seven out of the last eight years.
The new Orchestrate™ release will now allow real-time patient movement through procedural areas to be factored into the overall process of automated capacity management. It will also improve operating room utilization and speed updates of patient status to family members. It also adds a series of standard reports for acute care and ambulatory procedural settings.
The new Capacity Management Suite™ release responds to the market with a new, more intuitive interface with the PatientTracking Portal™ view. Other enhancements track patient progression through rehabilitation and allow busy caregivers to more easily record or access patient information without leaving the application.
The TransferCenter™ application now offers additional business-trending intelligence that can help hospital executives determine the benefits of adding service lines or facility expansion. This includes allowing users to track business lost through outbound transfers and analyze market trends based on the types of transfers.
The new information can help hospital leaders decide whether to offer new service lines to meet the needs of their patient population area.
