Brittany Lindsey is the Director of Patient Throughput for UAB Hospital with responsibility for the strategic planning and operations of UAB’s Center for Patient Flow, a department handling all movement into, within, and out of UAB Medicine. Brittany began her career in 2011 as Operations Manager for Emergency Services. Brittany is a healthcare leader with a passion for excellence in patient centered care, focused on high quality evidence based initiatives leading complex organizations to effective and efficient operational success in an ever-changing healthcare environment. Brittany has a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University, a Masters of Public Administration from Auburn, along with a Healthcare Management and Emergency Management certification. Brittany is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for healthcare process improvement.
